Motorcyclist Opens Fire on People in Pickup Truck in Mill Valley

MILL VALLEY (KRON) -- Deputies are looking for the rider of a black motorcycle who witnesses say opened fire in an upscale part of Marin County late Friday morning.

Marin County Sheriff's deputies say they got the call at about 11:30 Friday morning.  The victims say they were sitting inside a pickup truck on Evergreen Avenue when the black motorcycle pulled alongside.  Two shots rang out blowing out the window of the passenger side of the truck.  No one was hit but one person inside the truck sufferend minor wounds from flying glass.

The motorcyclist sped away eastbound on Miller Avenue.  

KRON 4's Jeff Bush reports sheriff's deputies used metal detectors and cut back on nearby brush to try to find forensic evidence from the shooting.

Many residents of the area, just down from the Whole Foods Market, are expressing shock at a shooting in their neighborhood.
