Police Respond to Spree of Shootings In Oakland Sunday

OAKLAND (KRON)--Several people are recovering from injuries following a spree of apparently unrelated shootings in Oakland on Sunday.
Police say the first shooting, which was reported at about 1:15 p.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Clay Street, apepared to be a shootout among multiple people. In that incident, one victim injured by gunfire in the shooting was arrested on gun charges and taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, police said.
The next shooting was reported at around 3 p.m., when officers responded to a report of a robbery and shooting in front of an Arco gas station located at 10600 MacArthur Blvd.
Police say a suspect approached two people sitting in a parked vehicle, demanded cash and shot one of the victims in the stomach. That victim was taken to the hospital in guarded condition.
Then at 10:40 p.m., police say a man was shot in both legs while standing in line at Maxwell's Lounge located at 341 13th Street. He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Police responded to another shooting around 11:15 p.m. near the intersection of 70th Street and International Boulevard, where a man who had been walking in the area was shot in the chest. The man was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, according to police.
Police have not made any arrests in any of the shootings.
