NAPA CO. (KRON)--Three teens are hospitalized with major injuries following a car crash outside of Napa involving a 15-year-old female driver.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the girl was driving a 1992 Honda Civic north of Buhman Avenue just south of Congress Valley Road Wednesday night with a total of seven people in the five-seat car. Police say the girl was speeding and lost control of the car on a curve in the road, crashing head-on into a tree.
All of the car's occupants were transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center except for the 15-year-old driver, who fled the scene.
According to police, three of the car's occupants -- a 19-year-old, a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old suffered major injuries in the collision.
No arrests have been made and police believe alcohol was not a factor in the collision.
