MORGAN HILL (KRON) -- A student accused of bringing marijuana-laced cookies to Morgan Hill's Live Oak High School could face criminal charges after several students reported the items made them dizzy.
School administrators say it appears someone brought the cookies to school as part of the "420" marijuana holiday and handed the food containing THC, marijuana's active ingredient, to fellow students
At least four students told teachers they were "dizzy" after eating the cookies. Officials called police and ambulances to the campus. The students were treated at the scene and released into the custody of their parents.
Morgan Hill police are questioning the student believed to have brought the pot cookies to campus. Officials say they want the teen to be "dealt with appropriately and immediately."
