NAPA (KRON)--Police say Caltrans workers have discovered a body of a man whose car crashed down an embankment in Napa County near St. Helena.

 

According to police, just before 11 a.m., the workers spotted the Mazda Hatchback off state Highway 29. Police say the driver, who was alone in the car, was deceased.

 

Investigators say it is unclear as to when the crash occurred but it was believed to have happened within the past few days.

 

The crash remains under investigation.
