SAN MATEO CO. (KRON)--A San Francisco man is set to be arraigned on charges that he pimped out a 17-year-old girl on an adult escort website.

 

According to the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office, 49-year-old David Blackwell is facing human trafficking charges for allegedly pimping out the  teen on the website MyRedbook.com and for keeping the girl inside his condo so that she would be available at all times to service potential clients.

 

Prosecutors say Blackwell allegedly held a gun to the girl when she violated house rules by having friends over. He was arrested at a San Bruno motel where he had gone with the teen.

 

According to Chief Deputy District Attorney Karen Guidotti, Blackwell is charged with kidnapping  with the purpose of sexual assault, human trafficking of a victim under the age of 18, pandering, pimping and assault with a deadly weapon.

 

He is being held on $1 million bail and faces life in prison if convicted.
