Man Attempts to Abduct 16-Year-Old Girl In San Francisco's Ingleside District

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)--Police are looking for the man suspected of trying to kidnap a 16-year-old girl Thursday morning.
Police say the girl was walking on the 5700 block of Mission Street on her way to school at about 7:40 a.m. when a suspect approached her and grabbed her from behind. According to police, the suspect demanded that the victim leave with him but the girl was able to fight him off and run away. The suspect was last seen running south on Mission Street. The victim immediately reported the incident to school authorities, who contacted police. Police say the victim was not injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned man, possibly Hispanic in his early 20s approximately 6 feet tall weighing 180 pounds. Police say he has dark bushy hair and a thin mustache. 
Authorities have released a sketch of the suspect. Anyone with information should contact San Francisco police.
