SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) A memorial service is being held at San Francisco's AT&T Park Monday afternoon for Alexis Busch, one of five people who perished in a yacht crash  near the Farallon Islands earlier this month.

     

Busch, a 26-year-old Kentfield resident, was the daughter of  former San Francisco Giants executive vice president Corey Busch and served  as a bat girl for the Giants between 1999 and 2002.

     

She was on board the 38-foot yacht Low Speed Chase when it was hit  by large waves and crashed into some rocks near the Farallon Islands during  the Full Crew Farallones Race on April 14.

     

One of the sailors, Marc Kasanin, 46, of Belvedere, was pulled out  of the water by rescuers but was pronounced dead at the scene.

     

The body of a second sailor, 25-year-old Kentfield resident Jordan  Fromm, was spotted and recovered near the islands last Thursday, according to  the San Francisco medical examiner's office.

     

Busch and two others -- Alan Cahill, of Tiburon, and Elmer  Morrissey, of Ireland -- are still missing and presumed dead.

     

Monday's memorial service, scheduled for 1 p.m. at the ballpark, is  open to the public. Parking is available in Lot A on Third Street.
