SAN JOSE (KRON)--One person has died and several others are in the hospital Tuesday morning following an early morning blaze at an apartment building in San Jose.

 

Firefighters continue to investigate the three-alarm fire, which was reported at 2:47 a.m. According to a fire dispatcher, firefighters had the blaze under control by 3:42 a.m., but not before one person was killed. 

 

Investigators believe the blaze began in the garage of the complex before quickly spreading. KRON 4's Will Tran reports a total of seven people were injured during the blaze.
