OAKLAND (KRON)--Police in Oakland are looking for a home invasion suspect following a standoff Thursday morning.
Police say officers were dispatched at about 9:45 a.m. to a home in the 2700 block of Ritchie Street on reports of a domestic dispute. Investigators learned that a person involved in the dispute is the subject of an outstanding felony warrant for home invasion robbery.
Officers surrounded the home during a brief standoff and removed known occupants from the home. However a search of the residence revealed that the suspect was not on the scene and police continue to look for the suspect.
