SAN JOSE (KRON)-- Police are investigating a suspicious package containing a threatening note that was found at a business in San Jose Friday morning.
Police say the package was reported at 8:49 a.m. at a nail salon in the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue.
KRON 4's Rob Fladeboe reports that the police department's bomb squad was at the scene to investigate the package and that a robot was being sent into the business.
Neighboring businesses have been evacuated and nearby Willow Glen Elementary School had been ordered to shelter in place while police tried to determine the contents of the package. The shelter in place order was lifted as of 10:46 a.m.
Meanwhile, Lincoln Avenue continues to be shut down in the near vicinity.
