SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- 360 San Francisco police officers will be watching the thousands of people participating in Sunday's Zazzle Bay to Breakers race to confiscate alcohol, prevent public urination, and make sure everyone has fun the right way.

Race organizers are putting the finishing touches on tents set up along the finish line on Great Highway near the end of Golden Gate Park.  Late Friday workers were assembling the medals the runners who complete the race will receive.

Late registration for the race continues until late Saturday evening.  KRON 4's J.R. Stone spoke to a number of people who are already planning their costumes and getting their running partners together so everything will be go on Sunday morning.

Police say, like last year's 100th running of the race, there will be zero tolerance for public drinking, public intoxication, and any other inappropriate activity along the race route.

KRON 4 coverage of the 101st Zazzle Bay to Breakers starts at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.  You can watch it on television from the comfort of your home or you can watch a live stream of our coverage on your phone.  Be sure to stop and send us lots of pictures of your Zazzle Bay to Breakers experience here.

Then Sunday night, while work crews are busy cleaning up the streets of the City, you can relive the excitement in a special edition on KRON 4 at 7:00.  We'll also have streaming video of our broadcast for your viewing pleasure on
