PLEASANTON (KRON) -- Police hope to have a sketch soon of the woman whose remains were found inside a garbage can on Dublin Canyon Road in hopes of identifying the victim.
The Alameda County Coroner's Office has now complete its autopsy of the remains. While they can say the victim is a woman, her name, age, and ethnicity are still unclear.
A sketch artist is working with the coroner's office to come up with an image of what she may have looked like. A forensic anthropologist is assisting on the project as well.
Authorities say the process will take time considering the decomposition of the remains. They hope a sketch may be available by this time next week.
If you know anything about this case, contact Pleasanton Police, the Alameda County Sheriffs Department or you local authorities.
