SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- In a letter sent to KRON 4, accused serial killer Joseph Naso proclaims his innocence on charges he murdered four women over a thirty year period.

In the handwritten, single-spaced letter, Naso says he was arrested in South Lake Tahoe after serving a year on a probation violation.  Authorities charged him with the murders of four women who disappeared from the 70's through the 90's

In the letter, which Naso says tells "The True Story", the former photographer insists authorities have no evidence he killed anyone.

"Meantime the media subjects me to the same again, slanderous and flase remarks, most of which are provided by the D.A.'s office while they continue to search for evidence that's not there with the hope of convicting me." the letter reads.  "The prosecution highlights its case on the fact i was once a professional photographer and one of the victims had modeled for me.  This scheme proves nothing.  The prosecutor's stories of bondage and deceased woman (sic) are the product of magazine illustrations and and falsely target me as the producer."

Naso is representing himself in the murder trial which is set to start in November.  Among the more bizarre parts of the letter is when Naso insists he wants the media to use an old black and white photograph of him which dates back at least 30 years instead of the video showing a man in his 70's sitting in court.

The accused killer is also promising more letters to come spelling out his claims of innocence.
