NAPA (KRON)--Six businesses are heavily damaged following a fire at a Napa strip mall early Friday morning.

 

Fire officials say the blaze at Jefferson Street and Pueblo Avenue was reported just before 1 a.m. and a second alarm was called shortly thereafter. Battalian Chief Steve Stuart said firefighters had the blaze under control in about one hour. 

Officials say a 250-foot by 50-foot single-story commercial structure houses seven businesses, six of which were heavily damaged by the fire.

      

One firefighter sustained minor injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
